The Drawing Board

Last Friday I had the opportunity to check out the Exploratorium’s technology-fused fashion show. Burning Man patrons unite! While some of the fashion designs leaned toward the cutting edge, others made me wish I had taken some psychedelics in order to enhance the otherwise boring visual display.

Last week I had the pleasure of covering the Thing’s wrapping party at Chronicle books.

“THE THING is a quarterly periodical in the form of an object. Each year, four artists, writers, musicians or filmmakers are invited by the editors (Jonn Herschend and Will Rogan) to create an everyday object that somehow incorporates text. This object will be reproduced and hand wrapped by the editors and then mailed to the homes of the subscribers with the help of the United States Postal Service.”- http://thethingquarterly.com/about
