Photos by Corinne Schulze Last week I visited the Port of Richmond and happened upon some very cool WWII era warehouses. I think I might return to take more photos and turn it into a series.

Last Friday I had the opportunity to check out the Exploratorium’s technology-fused fashion show. Burning Man patrons unite! While some of the fashion designs leaned toward the cutting edge, others made me wish I had taken some psychedelics in order to enhance the otherwise boring visual display.

Looking through some of my old polaroid tranfers this morning, I realized that this process really taught me a lot about image manipulation and how color can fundamentally change the meaning of a photo. Imagining a photo world without this hands-on approach makes me ponder the future of photography in the academic world. Or maybe I’m just being nostalgic.
