Looking through some of my old polaroid tranfers this morning, I realized that this process really taught me a lot about image manipulation and how color can fundamentally change the meaning of a photo. Imagining a photo world without this hands-on approach makes me ponder the future of photography in the academic world. Or maybe I’m just being nostalgic.
