Forage, 2015
In October 2014, I journeyed on a sailing expedition to the Svalbard Archipelago, home of the Svalbard Seed Vault. Over the course of this three week expedition I installed into the landscape life-size cut-out prints of some of the types of plants stored in the vault. The resulting photographs reflect my interpretation of one of the many ways we indirectly rely on the unique characteristics of the arctic environment.
